Reports of diarrhoea and stomach cramps at Hotel Globus Bulgaria
Holidaymakers have complained on TripAdvisor of suffering symptoms of holiday illness during July, 2011 , while staying at the Hotel Globus, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.
Diarrhoea and stomach cramps have been reported at the 4-star Hotel Globus, which is promoted by Balkan Holidays. Situated in the heart of Sunny Beach, the hotel facilities include two buffet restaurants and one a la carte. Holidaymakers have complained about the poor standard of food, and one guest stated that the food containers at the buffet restaurant were regularly topped up with cold food.
One guest who chose the pork dish, said it was ´stone cold and tasted peculiar.´ The next day the guest had symptoms of food poisoning, and other guests complained of suffering stomach cramps and diarrhoea.
