Holidaymakers have complained on TripAdvisor, the online review site, of suffering holiday illness at The Reserve Paradisus Palma Real in the Dominican Republic during July 2011.
Severe symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps have been reported at the all inclusive 4-star Reserve Paradisus Palma Real, which boasts five a la carte restaurants and two poolside buffet restaurants. Holidaymakers have complained of food being left out and exposed to bird contamination and flies. One guest complained that there was a worm in their salad and poor general standards of food and hygiene are thought to have caused symptoms of severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps.
