Food poisoning reports at Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium Dominican Republic
We have been reading reports on the internet review website, TripAdvisor, that holidaymakers staying at the The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium in Bavaro, Dominican Republic, have suffered food poisoning during July 2011.
The hotel is promoted by Thomson Holidays among others. The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium is an all inclusive 5 star resort and enjoys a beach-front location. One of the guests staying at this resort during July was hospitalised apparently due to food poisoning. Holidaymakers have complained of lack of food hygiene as well as food not being handled correctly and stated that food was transported around in unrefrigerated wheelie bins. The food was also exposed to flies which is thought to have caused symptoms of food poisoning.
