We are reading reports on TripAdvisor that holidaymakers staying at the Baron Palms Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, during the month of June 2011 have suffered holiday illness with symptoms of severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. 
This hotel is promoted by Thomson Holidays amongst others. The Baron Palms Resort is an all inclusive 5 star hotel and is situated eight kilometres from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport and fifteen kilometres from Naama Bay.
Holidaymakers have complained about poor food hygiene as well as food being left out and exposed to bird contamination which is thought to have caused the symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps at this hotel.
