Diarrhoea and stomach cramps reported at Sunrise Island View in Egypt
Recent reports on TripAdvisor are suggesting that holiday makers staying at the Sunrise Island View in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, during the month of July have suffered symptoms of holiday illness, including severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. 
This hotel is promoted by Thomas Cook Holidays amongst others. The Sunrise Island View is an all inclusive 4 star hotel and is situated eleven kilometres from Naama Bay. The hotel consists of an international buffet restaurant and an Italian and oriental speciality restaurant. Holidaymakers have complained of lack of food hygiene as well as food being left out in containers for hours, which is thought to have caused symptoms of stomach cramps. One holidaymaker has complained of contracting dysentery whilst staying at The Sunrise Island View, and after returning to the UK, still required two weeks off work to recover.
