Holiday illness complaints at Resta Grand Resort Marsa Alam Egypt July 2011
Reports on trip advisor state that holidaymakers who have stayed at the Resta Grand Resort in Marsa Alam, Egypt, recently have suffered holiday illness including symptoms of severe diarrhoea, stomach cramps and sickness.
The hotel is promoted by Thomson Holidays, amongst others, and is rated as a 5-star hotel on the beach. Dining facilities at the hotel include a main buffet restaurant and 3 a la carte restaurants.
Holidaymakers have complained on TripAdvisor of poor standards of hygiene and food at the Resta Grand Resort, Marsa Alam, and also stated that food was served lukewarm at best. One guest has been confirmed as having contracted Salmonella food poisoning.
