Illness at Fort Arabesque Hotel in Egypt

Reports have reached us of a British pensioner who was hospitalised following a serious case of gastric illness at the Fort Arabesque Hotel in Makadi Bay, Egypt.
Fort Arabesque Hotel in Egypt
The 4-star all inclusive hotel is promoted by Saga Holidays and they are being called upon to carry out a thorough investigation of the hotel to improve standards of food hygiene and to prevent other holidaymakers falling ill.

The holidaymaker who suffered symptoms of diarrhoea and sickness during a month long holiday in February 2011 at the Fort Arabesque Hotel, Makadi Bay, Egypt lost over one and a half stones in weight and is still suffering symptoms of illness after returning to the UK.

Poor standards of hygiene and food are thought to be linked to the illness outbreak and reports were made of leftover food being re-heated and of food being served lukewarm. Other guests who stayed at the hotel previously have described the food as being ´way below average, horrible, and tasteless.´

If you have suffered holiday illness at the Fort Arabesque Hotel in Makadi Beach, Egypt, you should claim compensation for loss of enjoyment of your holiday, medical expenses and your pain and suffering if poor food preparation/food handling and poor hygiene practices caused your illness.
