Recent complaints follow other reports of illness at the same hotel during June 2011 and holidaymakers have suffered symptoms of diarrhoea, sickness and stomach cramps caused by E.coli.

The Baron Palms Resort is promoted by Thomson, Thomas Cook and Longwood Holidays, amongst others, and is a 5-star hotel just 8km from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

Holidaymakers have complained of a lack of food hygiene at the hotel and one complainant found a 2-inch nail in his pizza. One guest was reported to have been hospitalised and treated for E.coli whilst on holiday.
