Possible Cryptosporidium at the Holiday Village Red Sea/Coral Sea Holiday Village Egypt

We have received complaints from holidaymakers who became ill in September at the Holiday Village Red Sea also known as the Coral Sea Holiday Village in Sharm El Sheikh and Cryptosporidium is thought to have caused the illness.

One guest who stayed at the Holiday Village Red Sea/Coral Sea Holiday Village suggests there was Cryptosporidium in the swimming pool, which can cause symptoms of severe sickness and diarrhoea. He also reported that several other guests were being treated by intravenous drip. The family was still reported to be suffering from illness 12 days after they returned home.

Guests who stayed at the Holiday Village Red Sea Sharm El Sheikh in 2007, 2008 and 2009, have made complaints about illness outbreaks at the hotel during this time and it would appear there are still problems with the standards of health and hygiene in 2010.

Other guests at the Village recently complained of diarrhoea, headaches, sickness, bloated stomachs and loss of appetite after becoming ill at the resort. Many people were ill for weeks and had to seek further medical treatment when they returned to the UK.

Other complaints about the Holiday Village Red Sea/Coral Sea Holiday Village include: smell of sewage throughout the complex, cold food, undercooked food, including pink chicken and dirty swimming pools.

If you have become ill after staying at the Holiday Village Red Sea/Coral Sea Holiday Village you should contact Farnworth Rose Personal Injury Solicitors as quickly as possible.
