Illness at the Nozha Beach Resort and Spa in Hammamet Tunisia
We are receiving reports of illness at the Nozha Beach Resort and Spa in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Complaints we have received from holidaymakers who stayed at Nozha Beach in October 2010 include reports of undercooked food, hot food being lukewarm and food also appeared to be reheated and served up on more than one occasion. Flies were seen in the restaurant and landing on the food and tables. Reports also confirm that the food was of a very poor standard generally with poor choice.
At least one holidaymaker who stayed at the Nozha Beach Resort and Spa, Hammamet, Tunisia has been diagnosed by a doctor in the UK as having contracted a Shigella infection.
