Serious holiday illness at El Mouradi Club Kantaoui in Port El Kantaoui Tunisia
We have been reading reports on TripAdvisor from holidaymakers who have become ill with symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps whilst staying at the El Mouradi Club Kantaoui in Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia, during July 2011.
This hotel is promoted by Thomson Holidays and Thomas Cook among others. The El Mouradi Club Kantaoui is an all inclusive 3 star hotel and is set directly on the sandy beach 2 kilometres from the resort centre of Port El Kantaoui. The hotel includes a main buffet restaurant and an a la carte restaurant. Holidaymakers have complained about the cleanliness in the restaurants and poor general hygiene in the hotel and have suggested that this is the reason for their holiday illness.
