Holiday illness reported at Garden of Sun Hotel Altinkum Turkey

One guest and his girlfriend suffered symptoms of stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhoea and drowsiness on only the second day of their one week holiday at the Garden of Sun Hotel.
According to one hotel guest who contacted Farnworth Rose, other holidaymakers were ´queueing up´ to seek advice from the First Choice representative as so many people were being taken ill with similar symptoms.
Some guests were hospitalised and received treatment via an intravenous drip and were also prescribed antibiotic medication.
We are being told that hygiene in the hotel was poor and it would appear that the sickness outbreak has arisen as a result of poor food handling/poor hygiene practices.
