"Farnworth Rose specialise in helping groups and individuals claim compensation from tour operators"
Group compensation paid for food poisoning at Majestic Colonial Hotel Dominican Republic
Amount Received: £19,150
Mr and Mrs C from Hull travelled with five friends to the Majestic Colonial Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in June 2010. During the holiday all 7 in the party fell ill with symptoms of food poisoning which totally spoilt their annual holiday.
Mr and Mrs C were both hospitalised in resort, an experience that they both found to be extremely unpleasant and upsetting.
They approached Farnworth Rose on their return for help and, after several months of dealing with their tour operator Thomson, the party received compensation in the total sum of £19,150 which compensated them for the pain and suffering caused by their illnesses and their ruined annual holiday.
Mrs C said “We are very pleased with the amount of compensation we have received and the excellent service from Anne Thomson and her staff and we would not hesitate to recommend them. Everything was explained to us step by step and we were given a first class personal service. We are so grateful to Anne Thomson for all her support, patience and hard work throughout our claim.”
